have you tried shakes or bulking powders? Recently got my grandma on those because she was having such a hard time keeping her weight up. The pharmacist helped.me pick one that just had decent macros and no uppers or hormones in it. 450-500 cals in her shakes so it's almost a whole meal in a drink but with balanced macros unlike a milkshake.  

Hi bdixon, Yes I have tried many different drinks. I have even tried the Protein Drinks they try and give at Dialysis and I can't tolerate them. I'm Lactose Intolerant 😪  

I just did a quick Google search for lactose free bulking powder and theirs tons of options. Check with your local pharmacist too I'm sure they can help point you to something. My go to post workout is protein powder+almond milk+ pre packaged frozen fruit all in the blender and it makes a delicious shake. The protein/vitamin drinks don't have to taste like ensure anymore.
