Happy Monday everyone! I didn't eat very well over the weekend(big suprise), but I did get a couple runs in. Friday I lifted chest and did 6 miles on the bike. On Saturday I got my buddy into running so we did a light 3.4 mile jog around the area. On Sunday he came along again for a jog, this time we upped it to 4 miles with some more elevation.
Taking a half day from work today to run some errands, then going to the gym to lift and do a 5K at race pace.
Here's the Garmin data from the weekend runs:

Good work homie. Looks like you're about to string your friend into getting the "runners addiction". I did not fall prey to that, instead I fell right into the "gym rat" trap so that is my downfall (if you want to call it that). Anyways, have a good one.

Good job! I'm ready to leave on my bike 2day! Woo-hoo! Never tried my garmin with the bike yet.. Got this bike cadence thingy that is more precise. I see you have auto lps every 1 mile, I should probably set it up on my garmin as well. Are u doing ur 5k at the gym? Great job on getting ur buddy to run with u! :) I got smbd to but the most he cud do for now is 1 mile in 4 weeks program, wich is like a joke to me LOL He is running 2:15 and 45sec walk 4 times, - there is no way I cud do that 8-)

Let me know how the cadence works! I'm looking for a good road bike, I'd like to do some outdoors biking this summer. I'm debating whether to do my race pace at the gym or not. I have an easier time staying at race pace at the gym obviously, but it's nice outside again today so we will see.

Yeah that's how I did 25:40 5K - at the gym, cos it's easy to keep same pace, no wind and stupid people walking :)
