Diario de Adelinemf, 14 abr. 11

P90X - Week 3 Day 1.

Part of getting fit is the fact that your body gets more efficient with more work load. Compared to a week ago, today's same work out resulted more reps performed in less time and less calories burned (481). I guess this means that I need to try to step it up a little more!

Really liking what I see as far as the body fat goes!

Also, it's been one month since I last had alcohol! 2 more months to go! I think it's been good to let my body rest from it. I really wanted to see what I could do in this time without it. I will of course go back to my wiley ways, pool time just wouldn't be the same without my vodka crystal light!

Today is my Friday, so glad to have a 3 day weekend !

Wow I didn't know that about the less calories burned the more efficient your muscles are. I am trying the no alcohol thing but a slip once a week, your doing good at it. Have you ever tried vodka and sparkling water with a twist of lemon?

Yeah, that's the catch with working out and making progress. Your muscles are remarkable at adapting. So if you continually do the same weight and the same exercise, you will notice that it just doesn't seem that hard anymore. You will also see that you haven't burned that many calories either. I have had almost all combinations of vodka drinks, unfortunately. The one good thing about not drinking is I sleep like a baby!
