Good morning everyone! The quick loss has finally stopped so it looks like the verdict is thirteen pounds of real gain, and about seven pounds of water/glycogen. Thirteen pounds is a lot to put on in the time that i did but to be honest I was working at it. Some people get depressed a day self mutilate others turn to drugs, I apparently sabotage myself with food. Glad the worst is behind me.

I received a few messages from people sharing their experiences with paxil, I was surprised how common my problems with paxil are. One person told me not to be surprised if I still have issues on and off for while, Wednesday night was one of those nights. I got through it with patience and understanding from the husband and managed not to turn to food for comfort. Yesterday morning I got out of bed determined to fight back and went to the gym first thing I the morning, making three days in a row. The activity gives me a sense of accomplishment and some self esteem, I'm sure the endorphins don't hurt either.

Today I am not going to the gym in the morning because my husband and I have planned to go together when he gets off work. That will be a nice switch up. Tomorrow is going to be my off day, I have class from 8-4 and then we are taking the kids to cedar point for the last time this year. No fries or ice creams for this chic.

I'm excited to go shopping today, although I don't have much to spend lol. I'm going to hit up the thrift shops and see what I can find. It doesn't cost anything to look. This afternoon I think I'll take the dog out for a long walk. I was going to stay home and work on homework but I have time, and there's sunshine today which is getting harder and harder to find in ohio this time of year. It's been cold cold cold. Using the furnace 24hrs and my electric blanket at night lol.

My mom has volunteered to pay for a santa run 5k for me that's on Dec 14th. I'm crazy excited about it as I've been waiting to do a 5k for ever but never had the money. My future SIL claims to be doing it do, at least I won't be alone lol.

Well I must get kiddo ready for school or we are going to be late. Have a great day buddies! !

My short experience with Paxil wasn't good. It's great that your husband is understanding and supportive. You're on the right track, just keep moving forward one day at a time, starting your day out with positive things like you are doing is great and sets the tone for the day. Enjoy your shopping trip.

Keep fighting. I had taken lexipro to even me out when I struggled through a divorce a while ago. Side effects weren't too bad but noticeable. Getting yourself up and moving is the best drug, I think. Really elevates my mood. Good luck!

Good morning Yolanda, so happy to hear that you will be able to do your run and that you do have some great support with your battle with anxiety. Enjoy your shopping and I am a bit jealous of the dog walking. I want a dog of my own very much, but for me that is going to be a future goal. Have a SUPER day!

Good for you getting back on track. 5k sounds like a challenge that you will rise to. Training for it will give you extra incentive. I am rooting for you!!
