Diario de Adelinemf, 21 abr. 11

Week 4 - P90X - Recovery week. This morning I was beat and woke up later than usual. Doing the Yoga X in the am's will be a challenge. It's too long of a workout to fit into my tight schedule at that time of day. I did Cardio X instead. Much shorter (45 min vs 1.5 hours) and I got a decent burn in (471 kcal). I will try to fit the yoga in over the weekend.

I am a bit discouraged with this morning's tale of the scale. Today I am 3 pounds heavier than I was on Saturday morning! But I will try to keep things in perspective knowing that the body fat has gone down, and I dont't feel like I gained any weight. Perhaps I am going through that delicate transition between gaining muscle and losing fat. The pounds will even out at some point is my hope. I'll keep thinking that.

Well, it's Thursday, tomorrow's Friday, and then it's the weekend! I cannot wait to say the very least. I need some down time and I am not sure I am going to get it this weekend, but I'll try.

Must stay positive!!!

I am sure it's muscle you have been working out like a champ. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. You deserve some RR after all the P90X.

Yeah, my guess is muscle and/or water weight. Maybe you ate something with a higher salt content over the last few days that has caused you to retain water? Way to go with the intense workouts and positive attitude!

You are doing great... Keep it up. I had no idea the yoga was a friggin hour and a half....I am like dang, it cut into all my errands before work time. But I did it. I was sweating like i stole something. I had no idea.
