Good Morning All,

Here is my stupid question for the day : Why are scrambled eggs higher in calories than they are in fried eggs ??

As I was putting my breakfast in I had noticed that they were different. Any thoughts on this ?

I hope that you all have a wonderful and blessed day/weekend !!!!!

Sherrie

This is just a guess but maybe it's because some people put milk in their scrambled eggs to make them fluffier?

Yes, I think she is right. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs are listed with higher calories because scrambled are usually mixed with a little milk and both are fried up with some sort of oil, in general. If I make mine without milk and use a no calorie agent to fry them (like Butterlicious or Pam) then I usually just enter Large Egg.

I just use water to make them fluffy along with salt and highly peppered. I lightly spray the pan. I don't use the Fat Secret scramble eggs when I eat them. I just count two large eggs, I figure that that is close enough.

it is the extras you add in. On Atkins add heavy cream and shredded cheddar. Lots of calories, no carbs.
