I'm heavier than I've EVER BEEN. The worst part it I've been saying that every month for a year. :(

Please help me; please encourage me; please inspire me!

Ok, I was at that point in Feb ‘21 when I found this app and vowed that I was going to change.. I’ve lost close to 45 lb. since then. My progress is not as fast as some folks here, but that’s ok because I’m just not going to quit. I try to record what I eat every day and stay within my macros of 50% carb 30% fat 20% protein and 1200-1400 calories a day. Not sure what approach you’re using but that is what works for me. Maybe try changing just one thing diet-wise or a getting a little more exercise to see if that makes a difference. Lots of people here with great advice and stunning transformations. All the best to you!

Thank you!! My calorie and macro settings are the same as yours. My struggle has been the desire to do it....and then, even when I have the desire I'm completely weak to temptation. But here I am on Day 2. So, we shall see. I really appreciate your response!

On May 18, 2020, I was the heaviest I’d ever been… I’ve been there! A year later I was down 50lb, and now it’s almost 2 years and I’m still down 40lbs from my max weight. I’m telling you this, because it can be done. It is hard work… just come up with your plan (burn more calories than you consume) and then stick to it best you can… over the long term, the results will happen

Thank you - that's encouraging. I need to surround myself with healthy people, even if that's only on the internet right now. Your story is inspiring. My plan right now is to concentrate on consuming less; I have added in exercise and muscle-building, but was still not at a calorie deficit in the past year or so. Thank you for reaching out.

I know what you mean. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and have hit a wall after losing 12 pounds fairly quickly. I have to believe we can do this! It will take us a bit of planning. Are you able to exercise? Do you have any food limitations?

You can do this! Take one day at a time and have a plan. Find the plan that best works for you. Log your food. It will help keep you accountable. Exercise daily as your body allows. You have a lot of support here!👍👍

My motivation is as follows. Back in Nov. 2021 I had lost about 16 pounds. Then I ruptured a disc in my back, which I gained 15 pounds back over a couple of months, because of the immobility and pain and overeating! In March, I took a LONG look at myself naked in the mirror. That is a real motivator. I had to make a decision to choose healthier and started over (again). I take it one day at a time. One meal at a time. In the long run, less weight on my body will definitely help my back issues. Hope you will choose healthier as your motivation.
