There are spam comments in Russian showing up everywhere from multiple accounts this morning. I popped one into Google Translate, and it is indeed spam. Lengthy, with lots of emojis. I deleted the one on one of my posts, but didn't report it first. If you get one, I recommend you report and delete the comment.

I do not think so. Fat Secret administration shut down the Russian web browser site. Russians have access only through IOS and Android applications. So i guess the web browser site Russian bots turned to the universal web browser site which is the US one. Only a few countries have their own localized web browser site. So if a member needs to perform actions not available through the mobile application must log into one of those. That's why although i am Greek i log in the US site. Most propably FS administration is doing some kind of punshment to the Russians. Their site had way more active members, posts, comments, green hearts, than the US! So why should they ever shut it down ? I guess they just wanted to make their FS life "harder". That's why some Russians logged in for some time.

I've been hitting the spambots pretty hard.they're just popping up like crazy. I don't think FS is "punishing" anyone. they have to abide by international sanctions like everyone else and don't discount any government trying to control comms between nations.
