With a green smoothie to finish my dinner, I have officially checked all 24 boxes in my Dr. Greger's Daily Dozen app. I don't often hit all 24, but I'm working on it

I do this app too- never gotten all 24, mostly I think because I keep my calories down. But I try and hit most of the categories, especially fruit, veggies, nuts, water, exercise and vitamins!

hiking_fanatic -- it's pretty rare for me, and it doesn't leave much room for error, especially if I'm trying to make sure I get my 53-73 g protein target. It helps that I give myself 1700-1800 calories to play with, which is more than a lot of people here are targeting. Dried, roasted edamame is my secret weapon for snacking. Lots of protein and fiber, and it knocks out one of the bean servings

I'm an anti-tracker of all things (it makes me obsessive, and mentally that is too hard to pull myself out of), but I'm always curious as to what tools people have in their toolboxes. Will check it out 👍🏻🙂

Hope the app -- or your own iterations of it -- work for you. Now if I could only find a similar app regarding exercise. We're in the middle of a fitness challenge at work, and I've really been enjoying using that app to record exercise, but the challenge ends June 12. It's been great motivation to get back to things, like swimming, I'd gotten away from, and to get into more of a daily routine. (I'm also now putting little star stickers on my kitchen calendar each day I exercise.) JB - I think for me, tracking becomes like a game. I see how close I can get to targets, but don't beat myself up for not achieving them 😊
