Diario de debbra, 23 jun. 09

I ate too much yesterday, but I did go to the gym. Today we went to the gym, and I did the eliptical for 35 minutes and then the treadmill for 30 minutes. I could have gone longer, but my son was done. So now I'm going to do my housework and then I'll do my stretches and exercises. I have a lot to do today, but I do feel more solid in the diet department.

Exercise serves us well for making us feel better on the days when we aren't perfect with our food intake. Good to hear you are feeling more in control today. Hang in there!

Great job with that exercise! You asked about healthy treats on my journal yesterday. Early on a couple of my favorites were the Vitatop muffins (the chocolatey ones) - low in calories, yummy AND has fiber and vitamins! I also liked the weigth watchers fudge bars (only 1 point) - the healthy choice fudge bars were good, too. Fresh fruit this time of year can't be beat: cantaloupe, watermelon, nectarines, peaches, etc. I love plain air-popped popcorn (some people think it's like eating styrofoam but I like it). A 1/2 serving of dark chocolate every once in awhile is good, too. Hope that helps!
