Missed the 1800 today, I really have to look into those protein bars. Have to get my veggies up a bit more too, and not just rely on the 3 servings in the V8.

Great rowing practice tonight, last week we did our first 500, I ALMOST made it, I did need to take a break, this week NO BREAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Second night in a row where the only time I took my paddle out of the water was to get ready for the next stroke. Go me. My abs hurt tonight, but I am really working on lengthening my stroke, and that involves more of a sit-up. You start leaning down, and out, and you do a full pull to the sitting up position, and then try to maintain that. It's not about how fast you paddle but how much water you grab, and keeping the blade of the paddle in the water for the full stroke while sitting up with it. (Sorry learned a lot in the last few weeks)

Feeling a bit better than I did this morning, just have that worry about Sunday hanging in the back of my mind.

I want to mention something I have been noticing, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Since I have upped my exercise, I find myself taking care of myself more, and doing more little things for me. I got back into using my face scrub, painting my toenails, taking a little bit more time in the shower, even trying new things with my hair. I am not really a girly girl, but I do like to look nice (or at least try to) and lately, it feels like I am caring just a little bit more.

Longer journal tonight, but had more to say, the more I get out on here, the less I worry about in my head.

That is so good good about your rowing! next week will be even better for you! I wish we had something like that where I live, it sounds like fun! Don't let sunday loom over you like a dark cloud. You are making tremendous progress and even if it DOESNT show a loss you have alot to be proud of. Focus on that. Believe me i know that's easier said then done. I have been up for at least 30 mins but I haven't weighed myself and today is my weigh day. Be proud of your progress! I have the same issues of taking care of myself like...make up, doing my hair, painting my nails. For so long I didn't really do any of those things. At least not on a daily basis. Since I have started this journey though, I find myself wanting to do it more. I think it's GREAT you are wanting to do those things for yourself. I think doing things like that make us feel BETTER. You are a beautiful women and you need to FEEL like you are. It will make you want to puch even harder. You are making such great progress! celebrate that!

Being in my late fourties there is one regret that I wish I didn't have... and that's having "let myself go" for the better part of 20 years. It is wonderful that yu are awakening to makng yourself a priority and that you deserve the little extras "just because". Outside of the fitness milestone for you, which is great, the part where you are caring for yourself is huge. It's a big part of the master plan to do this thing for "you". :)
