Good evening everyone.
Yesterday my water broke and I delivered Justin Tyler via c-section at 9:43pm last night. First, let me start by saying that Justin is beautiful...so so so beautiful. He was born 3 weeks early and because of it, he is struggling to use his full lung capacity. He has not been able to be with me. Justin is in the nursery room at the hospital on an IV and oxygen. He is such a fighter and has already smiled at me!! He stops crying when he hears me sing the ABCs to him (something he has heard a lot in the womb because his big brother Jacob is learning his ABCs). Please pray for Justin, he needs all the prayers that he can get. He is amazing, gorgeous, and so tiny. I love him so much. Again, he needs all the prayers he can get- thanks so much and God bless

Congratulations on your new beautiful baby boy! A little birdie sent me a few pics of him, and he is indeed GORGEOUS! Sending up some prayers that he gets to go home soon! :) I'm thinking of you all. ((((HUGS))))

Three weeks premature isn't too premature now a days. Once he's off the O2 and can hold down a bottle, he'll be home in no time. Much blessings to you. How are you doing? Congrats Leesha!

Congrats Lisa!!! Emmie was a 37 weeker too!! She struggled at first and had a really low apgar score (2) But did well once she received some oxygen support. How big was he? You look great in the pics I saw!! Keep us updated, I know it's hard.... I can't get time on here at all anymore... lol! Emmie is 2 weeks 3 days!! She weighs 6lbs 4oz!!!

Keri- Justin has been on oxygen support for two days now and he is still having a rough time. Did Emmie recover quickly? I am just scared; I feel like I want him to recover fast and nothing is happening fast enough... :(

Julie- he has been on oxygen for two days now and has not been ordered a bottle yet. I am just one worried momma over here. I hope that everything goes well.. do you know if it typically takes this long for babies to get on track?

You look so much like your Mom, that troublemaker. I can't imagine how you feel but, I'm thinking of you and Justin. I'm sure he'll be fine... Just be patient and give him all your love....

Emmie only required support for about a half an hour. Her lungs were fully developed but she was working to hard at first. She was also 2.5-3 weeks early. She was born with a very tight cord around her neck and was very unresponsive during the first few minutes.... It was terrifying!! She was greyish/blue and they prepared me for the worst... Thankfully she recovered quickly and was brought back to me about 1/2 hr after her birth. What did Justin weigh? You are all in my prayers... But I know he will be great!! :)
