Well, I guess I am really not a morning person. Since I've been having trouble finding a parking space at the gym on Sundays, I decided to get up early (for me) and beat the rush. That part worked out fine, but once I started my workout, I found I have absolutely no energy in the morning. I really struggled to keep my pace up on the stationery bike and felt completely winded after doing weights. The good news is the gym is out of the way and I've got the whole day to do other things.
I increased my calorie intake yesterday to 1500 as advised by the Slim-Fast nutritionist. It's funny, I felt hungrier at 1500 calories than I have at 1200 the rest of the week. Maybe it's because my metabolism is kicking into high gear? Naw, not on the first day, I suppose.
Anyway, really enjoying having two days off in a row. Gotta find a way to do this more often.
