Personally, I like to weigh in on Monday and again on Friday or Saturday. But, that is because I tend to have cheat days on the weekend and weighing on those days helps me see how those cheat days affect my weight. Just find a rhythm that works for you.

I like Friday mornings, that way if I mess up on the weekend, it won't show on the scale ;)

I weigh in when I feel as if I've lost. I know that makes no sense, but that's the way I do it.

Weigh ins should be consistent, pick a day and time and weigh yourself weekly on that schedule. I weigh myself each week and it is what is, i don't see the point manipulating weigh in days to give you precised weight loss. The only way to get real long lasting weight loss is be consistent. IMO :)

well, today I made desert, so I will be pretty shy to weigh myself in the morning. Cream cheese, heavy cream, raspberry sugar free jello, wild frozen blueberries, all beat up in a pink cream, with walnuts and almonds on the side for a crunch..It is too good to be innocent...end of week-end, well almost

I try to weigh in (here) daily. If I can't get on-line, I'll add my weight through the history link to catch up. I weigh every morning to better keep an eye on myself. I'm afraid if I don't, I'll screw up big time then not want to work it back off.

I like to weigh in on Monday morning. I get up and go to the bathroom and weigh before I have anything to eat or drink. I have found that 8 ounces of water actually weighs 8 ounces!

One of the most difficult challenges we did on this site was to NOT weigh ourselves for a month. The results at the end of the challenge were rewarding.

I usually do mine Monday morning and record that as my "official" weight in BUT i wont lie, i step on the scale prolly every day . I think its more of a personal preference. To me Monday morn is kinda the beginning of a new week and the end of last so it could be considered both. I do the same as Diehard, make a pee then right as I get ready to shower , i weigh in wearing nothing but my birthday suit.... wink wink LOL

I think I am a "Monday person" too :-) I tend to do it pretty much like Diehard and Red.

I was a Sunday person but have now started to do it on Wednesday based on an article I recently read. It recommends weighing weekly to keep yourself accountable. I recall last year that I weighed rather infrequently for several months and gained over 10 pounds as I wasn't seeing and keeping my weight in mind. The article discourages obsessing over one's weight as there are many factors which can cause weight to fluctuate. It also recommended Wednesday over Monday as we may have gone a tad overboard over the weekend but by Wednesday we would have corrected bad eating. In short, I don't think there is ANY good day - it all depends on lifestyle and what one feels comfortable with. Good luck on your journey.

Ani, it does sound like a good idea, to leave it to Wednesday. For instance today, Monday, for NO good reason, I am 2 up. That can ruin your beginning of the week :-(
