Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend.

Onward and upward ever striving to reach the ultimate pinnacle of our abilities. The only failure is in quitting.

I ran my 5 miles on Saturday. I think I'm starting to feel my age. It was tough but I shaved 16 sec/mile off of the last time I ran 5 miles. I also mowed the front and side yard so I was pretty exhausted come Saturday evening.

Yesterday I mowed the back. I was still a little sore from Saturday. I need to make sure I drink enough water with all the activity I am doing outside. I also need to get in the habit of foam rolling to help with the soreness.

I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing tonight. I might do short tempo intervals to build my endurance. Hopefully it won't rain.
