Well, I know I said I was going to be back on here more frequently, but life just gets in the way sometimes. My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago and I was busy helping my grandma and just family things associated with hospital stays and funeral arrangements. I did a week of the Turbo Jam's Turbo Slim, which is a 10 day meal plan to jump start weight loss. I have lost some weight on it, I think about a pound and a half. I didn't have the items for days 8-10, so I went to the store to get food for the next week. Tomorrow I am going to start the Extreme Fat Smash Diet by Ian Smith. This is a 3 week program with each week being slightly different from the last. Greg has until the end of August in New Mexico and then he'll be home. So since he has 3 weeks there I'm really going to bust it before he gets home. Greg hasn't been able to find a job for when he comes home, but hopefully he'll be able to get one right away.
Anyway, I've also taken up knitting and joined a weekly group where we just sit around and knit, it's fun and gets me out the house! I have done scarves before, but nothing fancy. I learned how to knit a hat using double pointed needles and am working on another one that is a little bit more difficult.
I'll try and be on more frequently!
