Even more rain today! At least we've just had sprinkles for the past hour or two, but heavier rain looks to be coming our way again.

Of course I didn't mow the lawn yet this week, so it's already extra long and with all this rain, it looks like a jungle out there. I can't imagine what'll happen when the sun eventually breaks out on it in the next couple days...might need one of those big machetes to clear it - LOL!

I made up a protein shake with powdered peanut butter this morning and it was absolutely delish!!! Kind of like melted peanut butter ice cream or custard. If there's nothing like it in the recipe database, I'll submit it. Super easy and based on the Atkins recipes for shakes in the latest Atkins book.

Mmmm, that shake sounds delish Sandy!! I'm looking for new ideas as I'm starting to get bored with my choices (in a rut) so it's time to shake it up! I'll have to get some of that PB2 powder the next time I'm at the Low Carb Grocery. My weight has also gone up again :-( 179 seems to be my magic number <sigh>. Have a great week! :-) ~Carol

Carol, just don't make the mistake of putting a spoonful in your mouth! When wetted, it'll stick like everything and you'll find it adventuresome to open your mouth!!! LOL!! When used "correctly," it's actually not too bad at all. BTW....I can certainly sympathize with "magic numbers." I've had a fair number of those on my journey thus far and may even be stuck to one now. Take care this week.

LOL!! Thanks for the warning Sandy! I'll resist the temptation to pop a spoonful of the stuff "as is". <g> You're doing so well and have kept your eye on your goal, no matter the bumps in the road.
