@emmefe. carb stands for carbohydrates. If you look at any typical bread, you’ll find carbohydrates are anywhere from 15-50+ per slice, depending on the recipe and how sweet it is, and the size of the slice. So 2 slices, the amount of bread a lot of people eat in one sitting, is very carby. There are diets that limit the level of carbs per day or per meal. like Keto. Paleo. And diabetic diets. So this bread that I eat, and there are many brands of low carb bread, is reformat to be lower in carbs. It’s usually also higher in fiber and protein which is great! So now I can have 2 slices of bread. It only costs me 12 carbs each for 2 slices (for example). Instead of 35. And it leaves me 23 more carbs to spend on other items, like fruit. 35 is my cap on carbs during a meal, in my particular diet. So lowering carbs in beads or pastas, allows me to actually eat more food. Watching your carbs is also very important for following your macros.

Thanks everyone! This was a great meal. I am at that point now though where I really need to switch it up before I get bored with my breakfast. Haha. Why do I have to get bored so easily?!
