Chocolate protein powder, 2.5 T raw cacao, 2 T natural peanut butter, 1 frozen banana, 1T chia seeds, 1t. Cinnamon, 1.5 cups of soy milk or whatever you want.

Rich, chocolatey, lots of protein and energy.

Now to do my boxing!

add 2 tbsp of ground flaxseed too! do you soak your chia?

I just blend the whole chia seeds up. I don’t usually use anything else like flax because my daily fiber is already so high. But my blender brings it up pretty well. After a few minutes, it’s super thick. I actually had to thin it out with s a little water this morning.

I just made my first smoothie in probably 10 years, and I tried the chia seed thing. I couldn’t get over all the little pieces getting stuck in my teeth :/

Ahh that’s too bad it didn’t work. A lot depends on your blender and how long you blend it. If it’s ground up finer, I notice a little grit, but nothing in my teeth. I have a bullet and vitamix. I blend for at least 60 seconds.

Maybe that’s where I went wrong, I didn’t blend it long enough. I’ll try it again :)

Not really. I’m better at Krav Maga than boxing. But I’ve always wanted to try it. This is more like gamified boxing, to music. It’s cardio, and less about opponents.
