For those who were following my journal entry about Casey, I sadly have to report that she did not make it. One of her wounds reopened and she crashed over night two days ago. I, however, have a new Pomeranian puppy named Teddy. The house just got too quiet otherwise. As for my weight loss and exercise progress, I am still slowly losing the weight (down to 292), but my knee pain has actually gotten worse so it looks like I'm going to have break down and see the doctor. For those interested here a picture of Teddy.

So sorry for your loss. 🥹 My little 6 lb Yorkie Poo, Oscar, passed away 2 days after his 17th birthday at the end of December. I don't want to get another dog at my age but it is so quiet without him. Teddy is cute. 💕

Thank you everyone for the support. I know she was just a dog, but her death was too close to my wife's, and she was her dog originally. Still, Teddy's a maniac. He'll be a lot of fun! Now I just have to work on my knee.
