So very true. I was told to walk daily for a min of 30 mins even if I did nothing else all day.

It's actually beyond that. They've discovered that intense exercise releases HGH in the elderly and keeps the brain from the natural shrinkage that comes from aging. Dementia could be treated simply by vigorous exercise.

Great! Agree completely, and if you ever read "Grain Brain" by neurologist Dr. Perlmutter, he also suggests the healthy fats for keeping our brain healthy.

Rocker, what I'm reading now, 'Take Charge' by Clarence Bass, who has been in bodybuilding and fitness now into his mid 70s, has a pile of info on the value of intense exercise coupled with simply walking to keep blood flowing and everything moving. It's a great read. He's always kept on the cutting edge. He keeps a body fat of around 10% year round. I'm sure the library would get it for you. I love the info in the book. It's the first book of his that I've actually read. He's great.
