I had a problem with this last month. My caloric intake was low, my caloric burn was high, and I kept gaining weight.
I think I wasn't eating *ENOUGH* and it threw my body off.
It's also possible that you've lost fat but gained muscle. Also, three pounds could easily be the contents of your digestive system plus water weight.
I've taken to not recording a weight on the chart *at all* unless it goes down. It seems to help me. Maybe that will work for you.
