Diario de Katsolo, 22 jul. 23

Shorter walk last night, we got out and things went slightly awry so headed home after 2.6 miles. No biggie and i like that i called it as a mile short in my head before i got home and looked at the watch. Still got 11.5K steps, so not too bad. Comic-Con is this week and usually it means things are nuts from Thursday through Saturday. Last night - crickets. Nothing. Hardly anyone out. The locals were avoiding and the guests never showed up due to the writer’s/actor’s strikes. Think I’m going to see if i can find a friend to go out to support our local spots.

Work has been an absolute bear, long hours, hard tasking. I don’t get it. The only upside is that when i do finally get to sleep, i don’t wake up for anything.

Weight up slightly, but blob is down more, muscle is holding. I still have some lingering pain when i do stupid stuff in my right forearm, but it is better and I’m wearing a light brace when I’m doing heavy work. That seems to help. My temperamental hammie is being a bitch, quite frankly. Pretends to be fine and then i take one wrong step and have to hobble home. Stretching before, walking slowly at the start due to a big hill, and massage chair when i get home. I keep saying that I’m going to take a break during the workday to do a yoga/stretching class, i need to do that. One of the very few things i miss from working in our offices is the gym. Decently equipped, $5/month for a locker with a pool, sauna and steam room. Crazy, huh? Those days are over, so living room floor it is with apple fitness.

Took this pic Wednesday night, i think. Quintessential San Diego skyline with the moon and Venus in focus. Still a cell phone pic, so best i could do. Lili’s growing and can do the whole 3.5 miles without a break now. Chance absolutely adores her and will go find her when i tell him to. She’s his little sheep with fangs.
