A couple of people asked why. It's cause donuts give the best pump! One last pic with my spectacles. Next Flex will be with 20/20 vision. I guess I can't say I'm not enhanced anymore. 💀

Lol I lost 1/3 of an inch just going from 500g of carbs to 300g. They are remaining steady now tho.
But they use baking soda to make donuts don’t they? I wonder how much is in one. I tried taking it as preworkout and got noticeably more pumped. It’s just it taste nasty. I’m gonna try mixing it in coffee next

Way to go! I'm 67 and just starting resistance training. I know I can't put on the muscle mass anymore like you young whipper snappers, but I hear that correct weight training can help keep you healthy at any age.

Baking soda gives you more pump and neutralizes the lactic acid burning feeling at higher reps. I actually increased my higher reps by 3-4. I don’t know the exact biochemistry behind it but I will dig that up later. I just tested it a couple days ago. Recommended dosage is 1 tsp or less. Preferably mixed in a drink since it bubbles up. I was just talking about how these baked goods gives good pumps. And they all have baking soda in them also. Granted you get the quick carbs n sodium too.

I do but I'm not the one on baking soda....yet. I checked the fridge and we don't have any. I'll have to get some lol. I do start drinking my potassium/sodium about that far out. 20-30 min. I feel it helps with energy.
