It's 730pm and the boys just left my place. They'll be officially "on the road" about midnight but for my purposes, they're on their way. The house is quiet and doesn't smell as much like boy, which is weird. I'll spend part of the weekend CLEANING to get my house back in order but it's not all that bad, really. I have to reorganize, vacuum, clean the bathroom and stuff. On the other hand, I can now go from my bedroom to my kitchen for coffee without my robe on without worrying about it. Sending prayers to keep them safe, healthy and out of trouble. And that they get a good job immediately once in Denver.
Walking over to the HOA meeting in a few minutes to meet my neighbors and see what their vision is for our neighborhood. Hoping we have a decent turn out. It's been kind of....abandoned...by the old guard. Most of them are gone and the one that's left wants nothing to do with it so I think we're on our own to rebuild which could be very good. Either way, I get to walk the neighborhood. And it's a beautiful night.
