Diario de ddrudd, 10 oct. 23

I made it to the east coast a few days ago. So nice to be able to spend time with family again. I’m thrilled to see my parents and brother and all the extended family. Work has been so busy and moving into the new place has taken so much work, I’ve barely exercised and I’ve barely eaten for a couple weeks now. I’m just moving from thing to thing as fast as I can and then it’s bedtime. Food just feels like an afterthought. I know I’m losing weight because my clothes are loose, but my scale is still on its way here in the shipping crate. I’m probably losing muscle, but at this point it’s happening because so many other good things are happening in life, I’m cool with it. I know how to build it back when things settle down again. So incredibly thankful for my family and my dog, my little best buddy 😊

Thank you OTB 🙂 I think I’ve heard that because of the neurological adaptations involved in building strength for the first time that your body remembers if you leave it for a while and then come back to it - the major pathways are already formed. So that makes sense that it will feel a little easier. In the meantime I sure am thrilled to be here, even with all the stress and struggle 😄
