Workout #1 of 2015 over the weekend. Kids' school fun run. Kids beat me and I would have really had to push it to beat them and still not sure I could have done it. I have significantly less cardio capacity than a year ago. I guess those workouts a while back did help. I've been winded on steps at work, so this is consistent with that. No hip pain while running and less for the weekend than usual. Maybe running actually helps the hips. Good to record, so I realize that exercise will feel good and help lose weight, to put less strain on hips and lower risk of diabetes and heart attack. At one point my left hip front was tight walking a few hundred feet outside, so I jogged for not 10-15 steps, which loosened it up that quickly. Wow, but even that little exercise did me good. Also, good to remember. So, after a weekend of just a little exercise, hips feel better than usual.
