Hello Mel, I'm so sorry for your loss and that you are going through a very difficult time. I am a widow myself, and I understand the devastation that creates. I remember feeling like my mind was in a white fog for a very long time from a shock. Waking up every morning to realize he was no longer with me felt so very cruel. Please take care of yourself, and as someone said, take one day at a time. You are not alone. 💞 

Oh Mel, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Having said goodbye to 2 partners (1997 and 2019), it is a journey I'd not wish on my worst enemy. Please be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve whenever and however often your soul rquires. There will be hills and valleys along the way. I have learned that grief never really goes away, especially when we have loved profoundly. What it does though is morph from a gut punch verging on disbelief, to a background hum that will sometimes pop up its' head at the most random of times/places. Our loved ones are such a large part of the fabric of our lives. As time passes though, we do begin to weave a new fabric that irrevocably incorporates elements of the old. Major internet hugs coming your way.....((((( ))))) 

Wow, over welmed with so much love and support. Jim liked this site and said it's lovely hearing back to all your comments about us, and especially me, it brightened up our morning. Off work today feeling low, but I've been so busy. I don't know my backside from my elbow. ( noticed I kept the saying clean). Hope you all have a good Friday.
