question for ya how much do u go over ur protein for the day?

I never go “over” my protein. My target is 0.8+ grams per lb of body weight. I would cap it around 200 grams per day when I was bigger. Now I don’t generally go over 180 grams per day. If anything, I am sometimes under my daily target. This week has been a consistent 130 grams per day, which is my bottom target. Had a couple of days last week that only hit the 90s. The good thing about a high protein diet is that if you are occasionally low on consumption, it generally will not pose any detrimental consequences. If you are low regularly, that’s when lean mass drops and fat mass starts to get preserved. Any more questions, fire away! 😎

OK that's good to know. I'm trying harder to get more protien in for my self but struggle most days ....even with fiber intake I seem to be struggling with I think that's why I stalled for almost 9 weeks. Protien wasn't enough.

The loss of eggs is unfortunate. I know how the loss of a food can complicate things, with the FODMAPS protocols we went through in my house. But maybe some ham and/or greek yogurt instead of or in addition to bacon/sausages to go along with your breakfast could be a good place to start? If you like pancakes/waffles, Kodiak cakes with an extra scoop of protein powder is another good option. A tasty protist powder into coffee can make a pretty good latte, mocha or macchiato. Greek yogurt goes well into batters and doughs as well. If you want more suggestions, I can share some more of my meals/recipes when I get home from work.
