Sorry in advance for the whiney post, lol!
This has been the worst week diet wise. I got my period last thursday, which was a pain b/c I was like great now water weight. I was doing well on my diet and my workout routine. I think I was feeling a little full so on Saturday I took a colon cleanse drink, which usually works in a bout 6-8 hours. 12+ hours later I hadnt gone to the bathroom and I felt worse. Sunday comes I add the mixture to my protein shake this time and get some relief, but while I went to the drug store I picked up Mylanta, Diurex and an enema. So pretty much that medley assisted in my stomach problems for the remainder of the week. I think what happened was I was trying to not have water retention so I was taking the Diuerx like clockwork, and all of that stuff just made a bad situation worse. By Wednesday I thought i was feeling better, I was able to walk off my stomache so I thought all was well and good. I worked out everyday, and then Thursday I weighed in at 170.8 or so. This was in the middle of the afternoon, I hadn't eaten yet, I think I took the dog for a walk, so after a normal bathroom break I weighed in and felt good. Then I felt like I could use the bathroom again, so I figured a little water would help move things along. This was @ 4pm, 40minutes later and I couldnt go to hte bathroom. I got back on the scale and was at 174 which I didn't think anything of since I hadn't eaten any food and I had just drank some water. I then suffered from the worse gas pains for the remaining 12+hrs. I couldn't burp or pass gas it was awful, at some points I could barely catch my breath. I still did my workout, barely made it through Burn It Up, i think I did the first 30mins took a break and then came back for another, that helped me burp a little. Long story short, I'm up 4lbs, super pissed and sad. I'm seriously considering getting a colonic tonight, but I'm not sure if that's overkill.
