Anyone tried a keto 'inspired' food plan? (I refuse to use the word diet lol!!) I've changed mine and my husband's food to whole foods, no sugar, low carb, and higher protein and healthy fats - so far we are both really enjoying the food, and the weight is just creeping off slowly, which is exciting!!🥳🥳🥳

This is what worked for me. I wanted some that was sustainable. About 2 years ago I tried a low carb version of an eating plan. Ate well, felt fabulous, lost lots of inches & about 7 kilos. Looked good & my clothes looked much better on me, I also dropped a size. I also followed the 16/8 window of eating. However, due to having a couple of unforeseen dental issues I had to change my routine & put all the weight back on. Fast forward, to last year. I decided to take the advice of a dietitian. All the myths of dieting were based on scientific data. So with the advice this is what I do. Chia pudding for breakfast, made with coconut UHT milk Macro brand, coconut yoghurt, topped with psyllium, crushed flaxseed, crushed hemp & topped with blueberries. This kept me full for a very long time. Lunch, 1 to 2 complex carbs, chicken soup with veggies, a hand full of nuts after lunch. Or chicken & salad, eggs & salad & 1 to 2 complex carbs. Dinner, any type of meat, half a plate of veggies, 1 carb. A homemade muffin filled with grated green apples, sometimes topped with blueberries. Lately I have it topped with dark chocolate. My treat for the day. * I was told potion control * I ate lunch about 5 to 6 hours later & dinner about the same time. I drank home made soda water, occasionally a scotch on the rocks, black coffee, green tea etc. I concentrated on health not on the actual loosing the weight. I took the pressure off myself, I never told anyone how much weight I lost. It was my personal accomplishment. I’ve lost a couple of dress sizes now. I feel very accomplished & people are telling me I look good. So I’m grateful. Good luck with your journey. I hope it works well for you.
