Thanks Unity☺️, the frustrating part is this new clinic for me whoch i will Never go back to Christy Clinic is,awful...had me on hold 2x for an hour, no nurses assistant picked up. Thankfully i was able to be my own doctor assistant via google. I will on my next visit in 3 months make a road trip to Indiana for a recheck.

I am so sorry. I went through that a few years ago and made some changes and it helped. Hugs.

There have been a few members with wake-up calls this week.

Worry about your blood sugar. I had my wakeup call. Cut the carbs and you'll be OK. Follow Jason Fung, Dr Berry, Dr Bikman and a few others if you want names I'll share. Not the end of the world. Diabetes does damage years before most are diagnosed. You can do this!

Im dealing with high LDL also. Currrently down from over 300 to 252 and waiting on labs i just had pulled last week. That means cutting down on cheese (if thats in your weekly plan). It was in mine. Sniff sniff. I love cheese. Good luck getting it all down. You and i are on the same timeline. My next pull is in about 3 months.

No carbs is not the answer. Deleting carbs controls your blood sugar right now, but the minute you have a cheat meal, or go off the tail at a birthday party— there you are with a blood sugar that does not follow the expected course of going up and returning to baseline after X number of hours. In order to fix insulin resistance you have to retrain your body as to how to process carbohydrates in a normal fashion. Lower (not zero) amount of GOOD CARBS, HEALTHY FATS, AND PROTEIN. The repetitive BS spikes is where the vessel and nerve damage occurs. Main coon, maybe your area has a dietician that you can see.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. Atleast is pre diabetes still normal, but a warning level. I will definitley cut the extra candy bars and now count my sugar and fat like i count calories. My poor food intake has caught up with me. Fortunatley I am very close to Indiana and only 2 hours away from Chicago and Indianapolis. I have keatned small towns are a problem for medical services

Maine Coon— a fatty liver is sooo not good and does not bode well for your future. Take this seriously. Your barn door is closing, don’t wait till you have irreversible problems to decide to “eat healthier” only to find the barn door closed and bolted.
