Diario de Shrinking Sonya, 18 nov. 09

My hubby has been in and out of the hospital all weekend/week so far, so it's no wonder I haven't lost any weight! He thought he had hurt his back, but then pains showed up in his groin area on Sunday and it started hurting when he peed. Yesterday morning he got up and a few minutes later I heard him yelling for me. I found him lying on the floor in the bathroom. He had tried to pee and it hurt him so bad he got dizzy and almost passed out. Sounds like kidney stones to me! So I took him back to the doctor yesterday and they did blood work and a CT scan to look for stones/or maybe infection in prostate/bladder/kidneys. He's in so much pain it's pitiful. I had to come back to work today because I don't have any more PTO to take. I'm praying they will figure out the problem so they can start treating him for it. They're supposed to call this morning with results from the CT scan.
