Don't get me started about the lunk alarm. I AM A LUNK!!!!!!! I AM that guy in the gym dropping 300 lb. Barbells and 100 LB dumbells. I would NEVER patronize a Planet fatness. FFS they serve JUNKFOOD in them.

Rambler, don't listen to me man. Im a bitter asshole. If your happy at Planet Fitness, then you do you brother. I personally do not like the heavy restrictions they place on people of my ilk.(Strong men and heavy lifters)

I have heard on the boards elsewhere that, in addition to weight dropping, noises of exertion can result in an alarm. Have only seen the alarm go off in the commercials. I suggest letting loose a couple grunts next visit, just to test it out.

Lol... I grunt every time I drive by!! It's awesome that you joined a gym- and one with good people! It's been super difficult for me to go to the gym (reasons other than health- childcare, financial, etc) but I loved the time when I did go for 2 months a year ago. Good for you! I think you'll get really toned so much faster!
