Pretty much the same as yesterday....3.1 miles walked, same weather, same doggy status.
Will be monitoring weight closely to see if I can push to make my moderate pace goal of 155 by 10/15. I may have slowed myself too much with peanuts last week and over the weekend to make the goal, but we'll see how it goes.
Heading out for a lamp shade (!!) this afternoon. I need an odd size for one that was damaged in our move here and just found out that a lamp shade specialty store is going out of business, so I need to head over there NOW! I've been putting this off because it just wasn't that high of a priority and the store is some distance from where I live. But now that the business owners are retiring and closing the store, well, all of a sudden, this has become a higher priority.

Sandy, you are so close, only 3 pounds, you can do it, or at the very least I know you will be VERY close! In the meantime, happy shade shopping, I hope you find the perfect one & manage to have a little fun too!

GG, I know I'm close but, what do they say, close only counts in horseshoes!! I'll give it a good try, though, just staying on plan and cutting back a wee bit, if I can without too much pain - LOL!! Mostly I'll be focusing on those darn total carbs and monitoring my weight during the day. Obsessive, perhaps, but I've got a pretty good feeling for how I should be fluctuating if I'm going to drop a pound.

Sandy, that is the spirit, one pound at a time, that's it, just one; never mind the rest of all that stuff, just one pound. If we can do one pound a week, that's 12 more for the rest of the year...can you believe it? Only 12 weeks left in 2011!

Good evening Sandy - I know you'll lose the weight. What I'm curious about is the lampshade - Did you find one?

Yes, Buffy, found the lampshade! This place advertised that they have over 2000 in stock, although at this point, their inventory is lower due to the impending retirement/business closing. GREAT stuff there; could've spent many, many $$$ on lamps and home accessories. The only problem is that, except for the lampshade, I don't really NEED anything else, sigh.

Sandy - I can understand. I have to restrain myself when I shop (especially at craft shows). Now matter how good a deal it is if I bought it and brought it home I'd have no where to put it!
