Another rainy day so no walk in the park at lunch today - this makes 3 days now! Will do something useful and walk through the grocery store instead.

Considering all the bitching and griping I've been doing lately, I'm actually doing very well.

And remember everybody - Tomorrow is Friday!

Bren - Your comment this morning reminded me of that song! Some of these grocery stores are so huge I feel like I've had a work out by the time I get checked out.

Thanks Buffy....you just reminded me of something! At my higher weights, I used to dread going into some of those big places....first the l-o-n-g walk from the car to the store, then all that walking in the huge store itself. Inevitably, I'd forget something w-a-y over on the other side and have to take another l-o-n-g walk over there to get it and then hike my way back to the car after checkout. Now, at a lighter weight, I don't even think about it, and, in fact, even park a bit further away to get a bit more exercise in! Wow, how things have changed!! Hope you're having a great day.

You could bitch while walking through the store and burn lots of calories.

Good evening, Buffy! I have been reading through your last few journals and I have really not been able to comment on your situations. I'm sorry you've missed your walks in the park because of rain. It's been rainy and cool up here also. I agree with everyone else - grocery shopping is really good exercise. And believe me, I have learned over the past several months that griping and bitching definitely are wonderful for burning calories. I can't think of any other reason why I've lost any weight at all! Have a good night!

I agree nothing wrong with bitching and griping.....as long as you are doing....

A little B&G never hurt anybody! Plus, I do agree, shopping has to count for something excercise wise anyway, plus the anxiety level that goes along with it really can get the heart rate up...especially if you go like on a Friday night...miserable experiences I have had on Friday nights! BTW - I usually do plenty of B&G while I am shopping, regardless of the day or time...between other people & prices B&G helps me get through it!
