Up 2 lbs when I'm only eating 1 full and glorious meal a day? That can't be right, calories under or at 2000 kcal. My mood has stabilized, I don't feel as stressed, I decided to quit MJ for the reasons of munchies at night, walking 25 min a day maybe 4 times a week. Eating between 4 and 8 pm but not LCHF because I don't want to torture myself if I'm only eating once a day. I've been praying more, trying not to use cuss words around the house. I thought I was cleaning up my act... I wonde why I'm not losing. I must need more water!!

I'm working on the second full day of my weekend fast. Feeling pretty good, thought about eating last night when my wife got home from work, but I just had coffee instead, and ended up needing it because Lilly was, "not tired" last night, stayed up till about 3am having a "sleep over" on the couch watching Peppa Pig and she ate twinkies. lol I'm trying to make the trasiition to a 47:1 IF schedule. So far, so good, not trying to lose weight, though, part of my maintenance strategy.

Wow Phil 47/1 ? Is that even legal ?? Lol.. Isn't it funny that we are too familiar with Peppa Pig and all their buddies? Man, 3am ?? I hate those nights when all I want is MY BED! Super funny Phil!

Sleep was beckoning, Lilly was more persistent. My wife feel asleep as soon as she laid down. Lilly tossed and turned for most of an hour before I finally told her to go to the couch, I would be right behind her. I'm not going to be mean to her just because I'm tired, hurting her feeling because I'm being selfish isn't worth it. And I love Peppa Pig, Ms. Rabbit is everywhere, everywhere, Grampy Rabbit flew a bunch of them to the Moon last night and Ms. Rabbit was up there working the register at the gift shop on the Moon. lol

Smarty, as much as I love bread and pies and pastry, I have come to the conclusion they they have no place in my diet - wheat and all of it's products and by-products set me off as do all sugar containing products. They set off my cravings, they set off binges and they set off weight gain, almost immediately. I spent 20 years eating once meal a day, that meal consisted of boxed meals with pasta or potatoes. I was a huge hamburger helper fan, pizzas, subs, wings and fries or big elaborate dinners with breaded fried meats smothered in gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans on the side. There was always something green, it was a color balanced meal usually a salad, broccoli, green beans and we always had dessert....anyway, the bottom line was...it was a high carb meal, so I know for a fact that a high carb meal, even if only once a day will cause weight gain, probably the fact that it was only one meal per day was the only thing that keep me below 500 lbs. I seemed to be able to maintain 300 without issue that way. One meal a day will balance out your hormones and put you in fat burning mode, but if you eat more than what your body will burn then the excess will still be stored as fat. Sugary, starchy foods are simply best avoided when weight loss is your goal.
