3.1 miles walked today. Unlike yesterday when my legs felt strong and springy, today they felt rather heavy.
I think it's because there's no stopping when I'm walking by myself, like today (DH took doggies). When the dogs are with me, there's not a lot of stop-and-go, as I won't allow that, but there's generally 1 or 2 "sanctioned" stops for them to do something.
My walking rate is back up to 3.25 mph, so I'll be adjusting some walking calculations. I was hoping my rate would come back up naturally in the cooler weather.
I was on the verge of dropping the next pound but just couldn't quite make it happen today. Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday if I stay on the straight and narrow - LOL!
Lots to do today, so gotta run.

After noon Sandy..those stops are a good thing for the doggies...I am still at 2.8 mph on the treadmill...if I go any faster I will wind up
with my rear end putting a hole in the wall behind me if I was to fall..LOL...have a great day....☺

Karen, one of those doggy things I just hate is when people walk their dogs, even on leash, and let the dogs go everywhere, whenever the dogs want! Generally, for my dogs, the walk is the reward for going at home. But to reinforce certain commands (helpful when travelling), I do allow my guy to anoint 1 specific tree. Now, my gal is a whole 'nother (long)story, but suffice it to say we need to make a special stop for her.

Buffy, let's hope that you, Karen and I can all kick another pound right on out of our lives...sooner rather than later. For me, I realized it will probably be Wednesday, at the earliest, as I'll be up too early tomorrow taking DH to work (we're leaving at 0-dark-hundred). He's got a follow-up appt. for his eye later in the day, so I'll be doing chauffeur duty to/from work and the doctor's office due to his eyes being dilated.
