Diario de loosinisfun, 22 nov. 11

GOOOOOOOD TUESDAY MORNIN.....heck of a thurnder storm last night with lightening...50 outside an still raining...so guess that means no morning walk this morning...was hopin to be able to do one again this morning...5894 in steps yesterday...not a great day...but not bad considering it was foggy all day and damp to...today is store day...need to make out a list so i can stick with it when i go..sticking with my list makes it so easy when i go ...unlike when i use to go an just pick up stuff an not really think about it...ive learned alot over the last 4 years about myslf an how i let myslf down...like so many.. not my first time of workin off the weight...but my last...eating right and exercising has become a part of my everyday habit...knowing that by eating right an moving is what it takes to stay healthier...i look around an see so many of the people i use to work with...an dont even reconize them...cause they have put on so much weight...todays lifestyle isnt healthy ..with all the fast food places to make it easier for people with so little time now...new improvements in our lifes that arent always healthy...i now look at the world around me differently...when i see someone that is overweight i feel for them...as i know how hard it is to get that weight off and maintain it...i can relate to people being in denial ....oh...im not really that much overweight...well having been there myslf...yes being overweight has many disadvantages...from health issues to just not being able to do simple things...being healthier is a mind and body changing experience that im so happy i chose to finally tackle each an every day...you have good days an bad...thats all part of the learning experience and sticking with it.....have a great one...

BY SEEING MY AFFIRMATIONS THRU OUT THE DAY..ITS EASIER TO KEEP MY FOCUS !!!

1. BEING HEALTHY IS A LIFESTYLE CHANGE
2. FORGIVE MYSELF WHEN I MESS UP..IT HAPPENS..MOVE ON!!!
3. CHANGING THE WORKOUTS IS IMPORTANT....MY BODY NEEDS A CHANGE SO IT WORKS HARDER !!!!!
4.I EAT THE MOST CALORIES AROUND MY WORKOUT TIME, AS THE DAY GOES ALONG I DO MY BEST TO DROP THE CALORIES...
5. I HAVE TO BURN OFF MORE CALORIES THEN I TAKE IN...TO SHOW A LOSS...
6. HIDDEN SALT IN FOOD/PROCESSED FOOD
7. TAKING DAYS OFF IS NECESSARY !!!!!! FOR RECOVERY !!!
8. HI-INTENSITY WORKOUTS BUILDS UP MY HEART MUSCLES SO THAT I CAN GET MORE OXYGEN IN MY BODY TO BURN OFF MORE CALORIES !!!!!
9. TRACKING MY FOOD INTAKE IS A GREAT WAY OF SEEING WHAT IM STICKIN IN MY MOUTH!!!
10. WATER...WATER...WATER...ITS IMPORTANT TO FLUSH MY TOXINS OUT...!!!!!
11. WEIGHING MYSELF EACH MORNING...IS A GREAT WAY OF KNOWING WHERE MY WEIGHT IS FOR THE DAY...

Loved the journal Loosin...so much you say is soooo true of alot of us on here..I have learned alot about me..that I didn't even know and some of it I didn't like worth a toot...LOL..now I am a much better person to myself...I may be losing slowly..but I have been down that fast path of losing before and gained it back..this time its staying off for the most part...Have a great Thanksgiving my friend...☺

Thanks for sharing Loosin. I too think we all can relate to your message. I wish I could remember how manta times I've gained and lost and gained and lost! Only made it within 2 pounds of my goal at one point in 1995. Yes, I have been doing this for years! I have made major modifications that I can live with now. I feel good too! I'm glad you are happy! Happy Thanksgiving! Wish you the best Buddy!

Thanks for the reminders. I have been absent pretty much since August and just checking back in...You must be so pleased with the progress you've made; I'm happy for you. It encourages me that I can do it too -- that it's never too late to do the right thing(s). Started back with a Jillian Michaels workout tonight. Now that first one is behind me, there is tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that... Oh, Happy Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for: I place good health at the top of my list and pray that it continues.

thanks jav...like so many i lost weight years ago, but then a different job, getting married and just not payin attention to me...i gained it all back over time....but this time around getting the weight off is all about me an being happy with myslf...you have a great thanksgiving jav

your welcome doit2it...glad to see you here again...getting the weight off is a challenge ...but one that is well worth it in both mind an body...glad to hear you and jillian are buds again...im sure she will get that motivation going once again and whip you back in shape...you have a greatttttttt thanksgiving as well...and you are right...the first day is past..an now its a new day to make the right choices...
