Working today. Today was arranged earlier. I get quite a bit extra exercise on a working day. I am in and out the van 30 or 40 times a day and change gear 1000 times, and unlike most of the other drivers I do not drive right into the garages. I park outside and walk in. Add to that the fact that some days I have a fair bit of heavyish lifting, then it is all grist to the mill. I am not surprised I am hungry come the end of a working shift. Yesterday and today my RDI has been upped a bit, but I am still aiming for under 1800 calories, with less than 30% Carbs.

That's a fair bit of exercise. You have a lot of will power. Well done and keep safe. Lot of bad drivers out there.

As a fellow 'driver' may I offer some double-edged advice? Drink a lot of water. It helps to do three things for me: 1. It flushes toxins 2. It increases awareness and reduces fatigue and 3. It cuts the edge off appetite if you aim for 500ml per 2hr period. The downside is that you will visit the toilet a lot more so you have to become more 'aware' of where they all are :)

It is OK to increase your calories when you are doing a lot of exercise, especially protein rich foods.

Mazchap: I try to drink a fair bit of water but as you say, bladder capacity has to be regulated. I take the chance to avail myself of the facilities every chance I get. In an accident a full bladder can have serious consequences, as water is non-compressible and a full bladder can rupture. Better never to drive when you need to go.

It is the calories deficit that counts. It sounds to me like you're thinking is right, so you'll do fine! I will have to follow your example 😀
