Hi! I started a low-carb diet in February 2011. I was a total carb addict so it was tough in the first 2 weeks. I kept low-carb but would slip here and there...but always go back to low-carb. The past few weeks, I find I am eating more sugar than normal so I am back to strict low carb. Here's what I did when I started: I increased my meat portions so I was eating 4-6 oz of meat and TONS of low starch veggies. I was careful not to eat a ton of fruit because fruit has lots of sugar. I stuck with berries, mostly. Good luck!!
