Hi Karen, sounds like your having a tough time and Im sorry to hear that. Things in 2012 will be better for you. You will learn to take control and achieve all the goals you set before yourself. You are obviously a very strong person so this is possible.
Starting slow is a good plan. If you are challenged by changing your food choices one way is to do it one meal at a time. Start off with breakfast for a short period and then move on to lunch ect. Its the same as you are doing for exercise times and increasing.
New year, new beginnings. Make it what ever you want it to be. Good luck
