So here's the scoop on my healthy weekend.

I got to stay home instead of going to my mom and grandma's which always works in my favor. After a rough week at work I made this weekend all about self care.

Started with an Orange Theory workout with my favorite trainer Friday night (I swear they had sissy workouts during the grand opening because instead of getting easier, they get harder every time!). Did some errands to prepare for my moms birthday and by the time I got home it was late and I wasn't hungry so went into a fast.

Woke up without an alarm Saturday and spent part of the day reading a book and watching Serendipity.

Sunday I wanted to take advantage of the nice day as I'm making an effort to get in one extra day of activity each week so I went to the track behind my complex and did some intervals. I ran for 9 minutes!!! Pretty good for a non-runner!

The big win is, I have ordered pizza for the Super Bowl for over 10 years and I mean the whole kit and caboodle with left overs for days. Usually having a bowl of dip and cupcakes too all by myself. I had almost made up my mind that there would be no pizza this year until a nearby place announced that a Mac and Cheese pizza was this months special (meaning it goes away after 28 days) and a personal one was $3 in celebration of their anniversary. So I planned for it, it fit well within my calorie goal and I enjoyed it. In fact I had to leave 2 pieces behind. Have already mapped out food for tomorrow so it won't send me on a downward spiral.

It's great when you can plan on having not so healthy food. I do it all the time. It usually works but sometimes not so much. You're doing great. Keep it up.

I found a nice cheese veggy pizza that I substituted with the peperoni which I liked before but of cause my tummy these days cant handle too much load so I eat 2 pieces only but its still 630 cal so watch out about pizza
