Well, I think I've reached my first plateau. Thought I had prepared for this. Don't know how you prepare exactly but either way, it sucks. I have never ever ever had an exercise program before. I've rarely even exercised. I have an exercise program now. Been working out religiously for 12days. I hope that didn't make you laugh, 12 days. I do realize that isn't long in normal people time but for a cronicly chubby girl like me, it is a significant amount of time. I'm not saying I'm quiting working out. I am saying I WANT IT TO PAY OFF! FAST. Why or why have I plateau'd after I started exercising?! I've also started playing absoultley stupid mind games with myself. I bought a scale for home. Great. BUT I am on it almost daily. Sometimes more than once a day. I know better than that. Still, I do it. It has fluctuated as much as 5lbs depending on the time of day, if its on the bathroom floor or bedroom floor. I have NO good reason for doing this to myself. Still, I know I am doing the right things. I am still committed. It's just a more pissed off version of committment. I believe this plateau nonsense will pass. It was bound to happen. I am pleased with my progress so far and expect it to continue, just at a more leasurely pace. Oh well. Forward motion.
