Are you drinking enough? Eating enough good fats? Check that your carbs aren't creeping up a bit. If all these are in sync then you should get a sudden whoosh drop in your weight. By the way have you measured yourself - the scales aren't always the best way of measuring. It will move down though. You lost 19 lbs in January - your body could just be taking a breather. Keep on going

Plateaus happen and as Mini says you could try measuring. As it's gone on for a while I'd shake things up a bit. Differ your exercise as your body will get used to doing the same thing every day, change your diet (up or down; bizarrely going up a 100 cals a day for a couple of days sometimes kick-starts a loss). You'll get there lovely, you just need to fool your body for a little while!

One of the things I have done when hitting a plateau is to actually raise my calories by 200-300/ day for a few days- and still keeping it low carb, and that has really worked. It is almost like fooling my body. All of a sudden there are more calories available. I am not starving so my body shakes off another pound or two. Good luck.

have a fiber day, apple or tomato day..be prepared it just gets things moving and regulated in the digestive system..make it your focus of the day but not the only thing you eat

I've added a comment, Bill - a poor substitute for up-voting but it bumps it up a bit.

i attended a diet class years ago and stayed the same for 6 weeks then lost 6lbs on the 7th week, all very weird, no answer to that ...but it did come off, keep going and tell yourself it will happen

Hey Paul, weight loss is never linear and for sure expect a few plateaus along the way as your body reconfigures. For encouragement my best fat loss months (inches and visual) came in months when the scale registered no loss or just a one pound overall drop. Take care, keep moving, diet first and foremost and you'll get there.

Thanks, Draglist! I read it! I read something like it illustrated with water balloons. Thank you for the reminder. It's hard not to get frustrated. I shall work on this! LOL!
