I have a question.. If we eat whatever we want but stay under recommended calorie intake ,is that a problem? Because as a student I hardly find time to make my meals.. So I eat things like Panini, chicken burger, sandwiches. bu I stay under 1400 per day.

You will still lose weight if you stay within calorie limit. From that perspective it does not matter what you eat. If you eat junk food like chips, candy, your body will not get enough nutrients and it is more likely that you will feel hungry. It is your body's way to tell you that it is not getting enough vitamins and minerals and good fats and protein. So it will be more difficult for you to stay within your limits. Try to eat as healthy as you can afford. Some times it is just a matter of habit. Take small steps. Good luck.

yeah it's not all about calories, you need your macro nutrients carbs, protein, fat if your body is in short supply of fat it will store it. if your body is in short supply of carbs you burn aminos. just remember macros and don't over do calories.

It is also important that you give your body enough liquid. Clear water preferably, but non-caffeinated liquid will do. Starting every meal with 8 oz will help control appetite and make sure you are getting hydrated. You need 64 ounces per day, minimum. Stick with natural fruit sugars as much as you can for when you need quick energy. High fiber (real fiber on the nutrition label on the back) breads when you are eating carbohydrates and chose fresh vegetables over bread if you can avoiding sugary sauces. Proteins will give you longer lasting energy so whether vegetable, dairy or meat protein. There are also protein powders that are quick to mix up if you aren't living in school housing and check out the high protein low carb varieties. You can mix them with water, milk, almond milk or whatever. And they can be a quick meal on the go or a meal to sip while you are studying and concentrating on something else. Good luck, Hon.
