Day 17

So far so good. As I said before, life is incredibly busy right now, and that is keeping me going and the running around is keeping my mind off food.

I've been following my diet for the most part. I'm not having any particular cravings, except for chocolate. I ordered a bottle of microfiltered whey protein in chocolate flavour that you're supposed to mix with water and ice to make a kind of a smoothie thingie. I should be getting it today. It doesn't sound too tasty, but it might just do something for my chocolate craving (more about that later) as well as help me get the amount of protein I should, per day. I'm really getting tired of eating meat, chicken and fish. And yes, I am doing "interesting" things with it and cooking it in different ways.

I think it's time I try alternatives - hence the smoothie idea. I miss my fruit smoothies :( I still allow myself one now and then with low GI fruits, and then obviously not too often.

Chocolate - the worst evil in the universe. When I think about it, it's not only the taste I miss. It's that creamy, dreamy swirly, sticky wonderful feeling in your mouth when it starts melting and the consistency changes and then it becomes liquid and it's just heaven.

*sigh*

But, I'm doing ok. Just need to keep it up.
