Diario de Sandy701, 16 feb. 12

3.1 miles walked yesterday but only .8 today....we got rained out! I thought I could get a regular walk in, in between rain systems, but no such luck. Will be on the Stairmaster shortly and perhaps something on XBox as well.

Yesterday was a terrible eating day....wish I knew why, although I suspect it was panic/stress over a phone call early yesterday morning. Nothing dire, just one of those annoyances that can come up in life...a phone call looking for me to "verify" personal info! Of course they lied, telling me they had just been on the phone with my husband (who I knew was in a training class). Told them I didn't believe them, was not verifying ANYTHING, and I hung up. Because of the recent fraud involving our credit card account, I'm extra-panicky, just imagining a flood of issues coming at us that I will have to handle and correct (DH has never handled these kinds of things and has no clue). It probably won't happen, but I'm one of those who's always trying to prepare for a million contingencies, a million steps ahead of where I am.

This morning, I threw out the peanut butter in the jar I opened last night (yay me!). I cannot go down that road! I'm also changing up some of my foods, as I'm not happy with my intra-day and intra-week weigh-in trends. I usually don't stress over these weigh-ins that I do for myself, but my body is showing no signs of being in weight-loss mode - and of course, I'm not encouraging it to do otherwise with the amount of food I've been eating.

I've always wrote about "working WITH one's body" and not against it. But, I feel the time has come for me to exert more control and see if I can't force the issue. Still, nothing drastic or unhealthy, but just some changes to see if I can get back in weight-loss mode and stay there!

Hey girl..proud of you getting rid of the food you can't stay away from for now..you will get your mojo back I am sure of it..sometimes we just have to get a grip..you can do it if any one can...(smiling) I hate when these people call..they must think we are soo dumb..I never give any info over the phone unless I am the one calling..Have a great evening..hope our rain leaves us soon...:O)

Bren, usually when these kinds of calls happen, you can google the number and see what the company is and what they're trying to do. But this number HAD a company name on Caller ID, but the number didn't come up by itself when I googled it. And, there are a couple of companies with the same name, but none have this phone number associated with it. I've heard that some crooks out there can make it so ANY company name comes up on your Caller ID, so you think you're talking to 1 company, but you're not. They knew DH's first name, but they could have gotten that from any phone listing, I suppose. Scary stuff, though. Hope the rain clears up for you!
