So I had a good time last night watching Mark and his band on the Ansonia green. My energy seems to be improving. I didn't have the mid afternoon crash today. I am eating 6 times a day, every 2 1/2 hours, and trying to eat between 1700 and 1800 calories a day. Most of my carbs are from fruit, but i still eat a little grain. I use egg whites and lactose-free dairy for protein, and 1 tbsp (not scoop, which is 35 g) of protein powder daily. Protein powder is expensive, so i have to limit my use of it.

I burp if i eat too much fat at a meal. I think this may be because my body is not used to digesting all the fat i eat. i have already used up a whole 1/4 of a watermelon and gotten a new one. I also got grapes and cherries. I try to stay stocked with vegetables so i have vegetables for lunch and dinner. I got a blend of pepper and onion strips from BJ's for my morning Cheese Frittata. I am hopeful this will continue to help my energy return.

Update: I did have the energy crash, but around 3 p.m. Normal is about 1-1:30. So it was a little later, but I still needed a 30 minute nap. I have been needing a one hour nap prior to starting this program, so that is improved. And this is only the third day on it.
