Diario de cheerfulviolet, 12 mar. 12

You probably won't see much of me this week - have quite a few things going on, and also my birthday is Wednesday. I've decided not to worry too much about my diet this week.

That's not to say that I'll go crazy and pig out, but I probably will indulge in some ways. On the bright side, an indulgence for me now is still as good or better than what a regular day used to be like. I have definitely changed my eating habits and cravings!

Actually, I drank a can of Diet Mt Dew this weekend, because I was super thirsty at an event with my nieces and didn't have a lot of options. Keep in mind that prior to starting my 24 Day Challenge in January, I was drinking at least 2-3 20 oz bottles of it a day.

I couldn't even finish the whole 12 oz can on Saturday. Just didn't taste good. Suppose that's a good sign that I've really re-trained my tastebuds. Now I know for sure that I don't miss it at all. :)

Happy birthday. and, yes, enjoy it and try not to be too worried. You can make up for the extra calories next week! :)

Thanks...I hope you're right! On the bright side, the weather has been gorgeous here. I have taken my dogs for much longer walks than usual, so at least I'm burning a few extra calories too!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Enjoy your birthday week... sometimes you'll be surprised by how the scale can move in the right direction when you relax for a few days on the dieting. :) Have a great time and we'll see you on the flipside!!
